Newest Techniques

LOBI offers a whole spectrum of state-of-the-art non-invasive neuroimaging tools for human brain research. Available methods include functional (fMRI), structural (sMRI) and spectroscopy (MRS) magnetic resonance imaging, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) as well as electroencephalography (EEG). We have a variety of peripheral equipment and associated software allowing employment of various experimental paradigms.

The core equipment in LOBI is the most advanced 3T scanner available: Siemens Prisma (installation in 2022). In a collaboration with Siemens we are able to implement the newest techniques of structural, functional and diffusion imaging.
